The Trade Desk – a global online media buying company – is expanding rapidly. Its offices are typically designed to accommodate an increasing headcount. Even so, the company often relocates to larger premises within a couple of years.
The fifth floor of 20 Farringdon Road, therefore, was not intended to be a long term London base, and the fit out design used a concept created for The Trade Desk’s Singapore office by another company. C2 was commissioned to develop this concept – working closely with the client to customise the space plan, choose the materials and fine tune the design.
As well as open plan workspace for over 50 staff, the scheme included a reception, meeting rooms, management offices, a board room and phone booths, along with kitchens and a staff break out area.
Following the success of the project, C2 was appointed to create a completely new design for The Trade Desk’s Hamburg office.
