The brief for C2 Concepts’ fit out design for the company’s 14,350sq ft new Edinburgh office was to prioritise wellbeing, inclusivity and sustainability.
Spread across the top two floors of 30 Semple Street, the office provides 160 unallocated desks, a variety of quiet and collaborative workspaces, and a suite of client meeting rooms.
The palette of warm colours and natural materials creates a relaxed, welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. And the layout ensures that everyone benefits from the stunning city views offered by the glazed curtain walling.
The fifth floor Equity Hub – designed in collaboration with neurodiverse Hymans Robertson staff ‒ provides a haven for anyone needing calm and quiet. Here the desk tops are a pale, non-reflective taupe colour. Acoustic panels and moss walls dampen the sound of conversation, and the lighting is separately controlled.
