Covid-19 Outbreak Update for Clients

In light of the developing COVID-19 situation and ongoing government advice, we would like to share details of our firm’s current response plan.

Firstly, we would like to reassure you that the personal commitment of both our directors and our employees, together with our highly collaborative culture, will continue to be a fundamental part of our service.

Our directors are constantly monitoring the changing situation. We have a robust and comprehensive business continuity plan in place, designed to keep us resilient, whilst continuing to provide the best quality service possible and at the same time protecting the health of our people and that of their families and colleagues alike.

As an agile and flexible small professional services business, we are well seasoned in managing our resources to accommodate changing project demands. Our wide regional spread means that we are not over reliant on any single office location and we are able to quickly mobilise resource to where it is required. Currently, we do not have any residual concerns regarding our ability to provide our services and we will keep you informed if we believe that this situation is likely to change.

In light of the latest government guidance, we have taken a number of actions to reduce any risk to our employees and to the businesses we work with and value highly:

We already have more than 50% of our staff working remotely from home, including almost all of our London office employees who might otherwise be at the greatest chance of exposure to the virus. We plan to migrate all of our remaining people who are able to work remotely and anticipate that this will be completed in the coming days.

All business travel and event attendance is suspended, including all travel between our own office locations. All face-to-face meetings are now being conducted remotely unless deemed absolutely business critical, in which case social distancing measures and hygiene protocols are being strictly observed.

If we believe that an employee has contracted the virus, any affected clients or contacts will be informed immediately. The individual’s workload and responsibilities will be assessed and redistributed accordingly.

Finally, we continue to adhere to WHO, UK Government and NHS guidance for minimising any possible spread of infection in our workplaces.

Our firm will continue to support you and your business, and we will take whatever action is necessary to maintain continuity of service during this challenging time. You will no doubt be facing similar measures within your own business and if we can help you then please let us know.

Managing Director

c2: Project Photographs - Incremental Group

We are excited to show-off our latest project for Incremental Group’s new offices, located within Glasgow’s, Garment Factory.

Incremental Group are a leading Digital Transformation Specialists currently undergoing a period of rapid growth, and they required a new HQ space with expansion capability. They chose the 5th Floor of the newly refurbished Garment Factory, an iconic James Thomson building constructed in 1898 for J & W Campbell, which offered a completely blank canvas, with exposed services and a light industrial feel.

The client was delighted with the results, and we would like to share some fantastic images of the completed space, shot by photographer David Cadzow. We will be uploading a new case study with more details and photographs of the project very soon!

c2: Project Clockwise Set for Nationwide Expansion

Since c2: completed the design of Clockwise last year, the new serviced offices have taken Glasgow by storm! The quirky, fresh environment we created has provided a space for some of Glasgow’s best start ups and entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. We announced earlier this year that our design has been shortlisted for a BCO Award, and we are now delighted to share that the design will be rolled out Nationally, as Clockwise plans to expand throughout the country, following the success of the Glasgow prototype.

BCO Awards 2018 – c2: have been shortlisted for two Awards!

We are absolutely delighted to announce that two of our recent projects have been shortlisted for a BCO Award this year!

Our design work on the regeneration of the historic Savoy Tower has been shortlisted for "Best Refurbished/Recycled Workplace" in Scotland. We worked with new the building owner Castleforge to transform the site into funky, modern Clockwise serviced offices in this Cat. A and B project. This project was hugely significant for the City of Glasgow, as it brought a new lease of life to an iconic but tired building by introducing the popular London trend for serviced office co-working space and providing a dynamic space for the city’s fledgling SMEs and entrepreneurs.

You read more about the design and see some pictures of the completed project here on our case study!

In the "Projects up to 1,500m2" for Scotland category, we have the Ellis Whittam project. This is the design of the new Glasgow HQ office for Employment and HR Law Firm Ellis Whittam. The site is within the Beacon Building on St Vincent Street – chosen by the client because of its central location. The project intention was to create an interior which could be regarded as a top-tier workplace in the Glasgow market, to recruit the best talent and grow their business in Scotland. The aesthetic is professional, yet fresh, warm and comfortable.

You can see pictures of the completed project and read more about the design story here on our case study!

Our c2: Directors will be meeting with the BCO judges at the sites next month, watch this space…
